Dr. Dieter Vaupel is a historian and author of numerous books and articles on educational topics and contemporary history. His work focuses on the historical and educational examination of the Nazi past.

Sonja Miltenberger has been the head of collections at the Charlottenburg-Wilhelmsdorf Museum in Berlin since 1988. She is a board member of the Berlin History Workshop (Berliner Geschichtswerkstatt e.V.). She is also the daughter of Edith Clobes (later Miltenberger), who was sent to the Reich Labor Education Center (Arbeitsziehungszentrum) in March 1941.
